Scholar Athletes Recognized with Top Honor

According to Gil Lemmon, Commissioner of Athletics, NCS:
"The Calistoga Junior/Senior High School's Varsity Girls Basketball team attained the highest goal of educational athletics, combining outstanding academic performance with interscholastic athletic participation. Your high school athletes have earned the North Coast Section Scholastic Championship Team Award for Winter, 2019. This award is presented to the top three NCS varsity teams in each division or classification in each sport with the highest composite GPA of 3.0 (unweighted) or above. Recognizing that there are 179 schools in the NCS, this is indeed an outstanding achievement. Congratulations to your team members, coaches, parents, faculty and staff who contributed to this worthy accomplishment."
